The integrated 3.5G HSDPA cellular capability keeps your entire field workforce in contact with the office and the data they need. The Juno SD provides a high-speed Internet connection, enabling your team to access crucial information in the field—work-orders, map data, reference files, emails, and even the Internet. Field workers can stay in touch with cellular voice capability, enabling them to relay live updates of the situation back to the office, call the office for their next job, or to request assistance—a must for worker safety.

The integrated camera enables field workers to store a visual record of jobs, and with the microSD card slot in Juno SD handheld, they need never worry about running out of memory in the field.

The Juno SD handheld also enables connections to networks and other devices with its integrated Bluetooth® wireless technology and wireless LAN capabilities. And with a long life battery, the Juno SD handheld allows GPS data collection for a full working day, without the need for recharging.

The Juno SD handheld is powered by the Windows Mobile® 6.1 operating system, which includes personal productivity tools such as Word Mobile, Excel® Mobile, Internet Explorer® Mobile, and Outlook® Mobile, allowing a seamless exchange of data between the field and office.

In applications such as natural resource data collection, public works asset inspection, and mobile workforce management where high productivity is critical, the Juno SD handheld is ideal. Incorporating a high-sensitivity GPS receiver, it has been specifically designed to maximize yield of positions in difficult environments such as under forest canopy and up against buildings. For these types of applications, the Juno SD handheld can be used in real time with its integrated SBAS receiver to achieve 2 to 5 meter positional accuracy. When higher accuracy is required to meet company or regulatory standards, the field data collected with the Juno SD handheld can be postprocessed with the new Trimble® DeltaPhase™ technology to achieve 1 to 3 meter accuracy.

As part of the Trimble family of GPS solutions, the Juno SD handheld is fully compatible with the entire range of Trimble Mapping & GIS software, giving you a choice of GIS data collection and maintenance software solutions at a range of price points.

5. Horizontal Root Mean Squared accuracy. Requires data to be collected using vertical mounting, minimum of 4 satellites, PDOP mask at 99, SNR mask at 12 dBHz, elevation mask at 5 degrees, and reasonable multipath conditions. Ionospheric conditions, multipath signals or obstruction of the sky by buildings or heavy tree canopy may degrade precision by interfering with signal reception. Accuracy varies with proximity to base station by +1 ppm for postprocessing and real-time.
6. Requires Trimble DeltaPhase technology, as supported in the GPS Pathfinder Office software version 4.20 or later, or the GPS Analyst Extension for ESRI ArcGIS Desktop software, version 2.20 or later.
